Michelle Diaz-Cofiño

Michelle has been a member of The Florida Bar for over 10 years, and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Tax Court. Her practice is focused on the defense and prosecution of complex construction defect litigation as well as construction contract review and analysis, and construction lien disputes. Michelle’s experience further includes commercial disputes and condominium litigation.

Michelle received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barry University in Miami. As an undergraduate, she was on a 4-year leadership scholarship, and during law school, she received the Book Award for her academic achievement in Supreme Court Advocacy and was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Law Fraternity.

Her professional affiliations include the Dade County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and Federalist Society. She has also served as a Board Member of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Michelle is recognized in Super Lawyers as a top rated attorney and Rising Star in the area of general litigation.
